In Raleigh, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across North Carolina do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 890-0143. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, farinaraleigh.com.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 923 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italian restaurants in Raleigh.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I almost donβt want to review Farina, because I want to keep it my little secret! I absolutely love love love this restaurant. We go here every 2-3 weeks - and honestly, Iβd be happy going more. The good is SO good, and the portions are SO generous. My personal favorites are the Braised Beef Short Rib with Stuffed Gnocchi, and the Roasted Chicken Pasta. My husband loves the Sunday Gravy dish. Itβs a nice, lively atmosphere (with just the 2 of us, we usually sit at a bar table). 100% recommend.

Lovely Italian restaurant nestled in Lafayette Village. Tried multiple pizzas, pastas, and tiramisu. The pizza is baked in a brick oven and was perfectly crisp and very flavorful. The tiramisu was among the best I've ever tried. The service was also spot on - our waitress had great recommendations and was on top of everything we needed. Highly recommend coming to Farina's.

The bolognese was delicious! I would definitely order it again. The service could have been better. Our server never offered to refill our beverages.

Another super experince. Always awesome! Great Italian food/and menu, ambiance is nice, Service is excellent and the pizzas are practically flyin out of the oven. For any pizza lover you have to try the thin crust brickoven style. One of if not the best here. "Mangia" Enjoy the many pizza and Italian entree options! Buon appetito! Alot of great Italian options on the menu to choose from. They definitely focus more on the cooking, ingredients, flavor and quality. Many authentic dishes to choose from. Healthy portion sizes and depending on what you get prior to main entrees you can always bring it home. We did Pizza (cheese and a cheese/pepperoni)and salads as appetizers and then to main entrees. Worked great for our larger party. From antipasto, salads, fish, meat, pastas you will certainly have great classic Italian options. Atmosphere is excellent. Nicely done inside. Great for family, couples or dates etc.. Just the right amount of lighting, clean, nice decor, updated and they offer various style and settings of nice seating tables and a more sectioned off room for larger parties. Not a noisy place. Drinks. A limited wine list which is enough and popular style drinks. Order
